Client Reference

Here's a reference letter from a client of a day's consulting.
June 10, 2002

To Whom It May Concern:

Please accept this as a letter of reference for Charles (Charlie) Arehart whom I have known on a professional basis for approximately 5 years.

I first met Charlie at the ColdFusion Fastrack training seminar where he was the instructor. His depth of knowledge was enormous, his classroom management was excellent, and his interaction with students was gentle, dignified, and straight-forward. In a word, he was a mentor.

When our office had need of an experienced and accomplished trainer/consultant in the areas of ColdFusion, database design, and system architecture about 18 months ago, I recommended Charlie. Charlie spent three days with us (with a couple of one day follow-ups), and delivered even more than I expected. He helped us through our database design and modeling issues and overall architecture for an internet based system that is currently being fielded throughout the Department of Defense.

Charlie is personable, with a ready sense of humor. His technical skills are superb: he can see the big picture and develop all the intricate details to bring it all together into a functioning system. His training skills are very strong: He not only explains and teaches well, he challenges one to think. He handled our heterogenous group with amazing grace (and patience). The entire office was delighted with Charlie's efforts.

I have worked with several world class consultants in this arena, and while all were exceptional, I give Charlie my highest recommendation. I intend to use his services again when I have need.

I'd be happy to answer any questions regarding Charlie's training and consulting skills.
