Adding new files to a project

- new users of studio projects are often surprised about the process of adding new files to a project. They to find to find that a new file created in the directory that holds a project that adding

- right click on the folder in the project which contains the file you want to add. The folders are shown in the pane above the file list. For example, if there's only one dir in the project, use the "root folder" icon/phrase. The choices presented include:

- "add documents to folder" (where you point to specific files)

- "add current document to folder" (to add the current file open in the studio editor)

- and "add all open documents to folder" (to add all files open in the studio editor)

- if project is under source control, will prompt to ask if the file should be added. (remember, though, it won't check it out by default. See below for "problems editing files that are not checked out".)
